The game of poker involves betting with a deck of cards. In a standard poker game, players put money into the pot and are dealt five initial cards. They usually buy in with the same amount of money as they will be playing with.
Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, although some variations include the use of jokers. The cards have different ranks: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10; while the Ace is high or low, all the others have different ranks.
